Police charged a 14-year-old boy with trying to rape a jogger in a Bronx park, authorities said Thursday.

The teen, whose identity was not released by the NYPD due to his age, was charged with attempted rape and harassment in the Monday-morning attack on the 35-year-old woman in Bronx River Forest Park.

The victim was running in a wooded area of the green space in the vicinity of Burke Avenue and Bronx Park East when the suspect tailed her at 7:50 a.m., cops said.

He allegedly tried to grab her but she fought him off and ran, police said. When she saw the teen again, she snapped his photo that was released by the NYPD.

The teenager was given the ­juvenile version of a desk-appearance ticket Thursday and ordered to return to court at a later date, sources said.

The victim does not want to press charges, according to sources.
