A 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg in The Bronx Thursday — the third teen to be hit by gunfire over the last week.
The boy was shot on Creston Avenue, near East Tremont Avenue, around 3 p.m., according to police.
He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where he is expected to survive, cops said. It was unclear if the boy was the intended target, according to cops, who said he was uncooperative.
The shooting comes days after a 16-year-old girl was hit by a stray bullet outside of school in Jamaica and less than a week after a 14-year-old boy was killed by gunfire on a basketball court in Queens.
