$155M AIDS meds ‘scam’
Now this is sick.
Four ringleaders of a massive HIV-AIDS black-market prescription scam were indicted yesterday for allegedly ripping off $155 million from the Medicaid program and endangering the health of patients, state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced yesterday.
In the scheme, pharmacists in Brooklyn and Suffolk County allegedly repackaged drugs that were stolen or obtained on the black market.
