A 17-year-old girl was shot in the head and killed in Queens on Saturday evening, according to the NYPD.
Officers were called to a Holliswood, Queens, home at 5:13 p.m. where they found the teenage girl unconscious and bleeding from the head.
The victim was taken by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center but could not be saved.

NYPD officers recovered a gun from the scene though charges have yet to be filed. Peter GerberA 16-year-old boy was being questioned, but no arrests have been made, according to police sources.
