One man was killed and another was clinging to life after a Saturday shooting at an East Harlem housing project, authorities said.
Shots rang out in a parking lot next to the East River Houses on East 105th Street near the FDR Drive at about around 4:30 a.m., cops said.
When officers arrived, they found three men with gunshot wounds, including 18-year-old Anthony Fries, who had been hit in the stomach, cops said.
Fries, of Briarwood, Queens, was rushed to Harlem Hospital but could not be saved. The other victims, ages 30 and 36, were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital.
The older victim, shot in the abdomen, is in critical condition, and the other has a shoulder wound.
