A shooting outside a housing project in the Bronx on Sunday night left a 19-year-old man dead and injured his 21-year-old brother, police said Monday.

Stephon Brown was standing on Randall Avenue near Rosedale Avenue across from the Soundview Houses with his brother when an unknown man approached them and began firing, cops said.

Brown was struck in the back and his brother in the arm. Both men were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where Brown was pronounced dead, according to police. His brother is listed in stable condition.

While there is no clear motive, police say the two may have been targeted.

The gunman fled on foot, authorities said.

Police did not release the identity of the injured brother.
