RONKONKOMA — Police say two men in a pick-up truck died in a head-on crash with a car on a Long Island road.

The driver of the second vehicle was injured in the accident late Saturday night in Ronkonkoma, in Suffolk County.

Thirty-three-year-old Brian Mullady was at the wheel of the Dodge pickup that crossed into oncoming traffic on Smithtown Avenue just before hitting the Cadillac Escalade. Mullady and a passenger, 19-year-old Andrea Giattino, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the accident. Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks. No charges have been filed.
