Two former NYPD officers and another man have been sentenced for their roles in the armed holdup of a New Jersey perfume warehouse last year.
Kelvin Jones, 30, of Yonkers, whom prosecutors described as the bandits’ ringleader, was sentenced in Newark yesterday to more than 16 years in prison.
The other ex-cop, Brian Checo, 26, of New York, got more than six years.
Gabriel Vargas, 33, also of New York, was sentenced to five years in prison for the February robbery of the In Style USA warehouse in Carlstadt.
