A gang of six thugs beat two men with wooden bats and sticks as they were sitting on stoop in Brooklyn early Sunday morning, police said.
The two victims, a 22-year-old and a 24-year-old, were on a stoop in front of their house on 60th Street near 4th Avenue in Sunset Park at about 3 a.m. when the gang attacked them, authorities said.
The group beat the pair with wooden sticks and bats and threw glass bottles at their heads, cops said.
One of the victims, Jose Juarez, told The Post he was sitting on the stoop after coming home from a party when he was attacked.
“I was just sitting in front of my house and they came out of nowhere and just hit me,” he said. “I felt my hands swelling up and I couldn’t move, so I just stood there bleeding.”
Juarez and the other victim were taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where they both required stitches to close their wounds.
No arrests have been made, but cops were searching for surveillance footage of the beatdown, authorities said.
