Two moped riders were fatally hit by a drunken driver in a Mercedes that careened into the pair after striking another car on the Bronx River Parkway early Monday, authorities said.

The black 2019 Benz sedan was traveling south on the Big Apple parkway when it tried to cut over from the left lane to the center lane and rear-ended a white 2015 Volkswagen GTI, causing the GTI to slam into a guardrail near East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx around 1 a.m., authorities said.

The Mercedes, driven by 21-year-old Mauricio Neyra Yuyes, then veered to the right lane and plowed into two men, 21 and 19, while they were on separate 2023 Taizhou motorcycles side by side, the NYPD said.

The 21-year-old rider, identified as Bronx resident Enrique Martinez, was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The 19-year-old victim, Bronx resident Manual Amarantepenalo, succumbed to his injuries at Montefiore Hospital after arriving by private means, the NYPD said.

Neyra Yuyes of White Plains was taken into custody at the scene and later charged with two counts each of vehicular manslaughter, driving while intoxicated and driving while ability impaired, police said.

The fatal crash led to closures of part of the parkway for a few hours as authorities conducted its investigation.
