Two people were killed in a Long Island car crash on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Two vehicles collided on Crooked Hill Road just south of the Long Island Expressway in Brentwood at about 1:40 p.m., authorities said. Two people were killed in the wreck, but police did not immediately have more information.

Crooked Hill Road was closed between the Long Island Expressway and Sagtikos Parkway as the crash was being investigated.
