A pair of workers at a Midtown McDonald’s were slashed during a brazen attack in the middle of the Monday morning rush, cops and police sources said.

The employees, a man and a woman, were stabbed by a crazed man at the fast food joint on Sixth Avenue near West 46th Street just after 8 a.m., according to authorities and the sources.

The suspect, who appeared to be in his 30s, fled on foot and ran south on Sixth Avenue — and remained on the loose later Monday.

The victims were hospitalized in stable condition.

The circumstances leading to the attack were not immediately known.

The attack was the latest in a string of violent incidents at Big Apple fast-food restaurants in the past months.

The employees were not seriously injured and police caught up with their alleged assailants nearby, police said.

In September, an axe-wielding man tore up a Manhattan McDonald’s on Delancey Street after getting into a dispute with other patrons.

Michael Palacios, 31, whose rampage was caught on video, was charged with menacing and criminal mischief in the incident.

Last year, 19-year-old Burger King worker Kristal Bayron-Nieves was shot and killed at her East Harlem job during an armed robbery.

Police said accused killer Winston Glynn, who also allegedly pistol-whipped another worker, made off with just $100 in the January 2022 crime.

Felony crime spiked in the five boroughs last year.

The Post reported Sunday that the NYPD handled more than 170,000 felony crimes in 2022 — the most in the past 15 years and a more than 20% jump from 2021, police data revealed.
