Two people were injured when a passing driver opened fire outside a Long Island party, Suffolk County police said Sunday.

The pair were attending a party at a West Parkview Drive house in Shirley at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday when a Nissan sedan drove by the bash, which had spilled onto the lawn, and fired several shots, police said.

A 41-year-old Mastic Beach woman was shot in the leg, and a Coram man, 32, was hit in the foot, officials said.

Both were taken to an area hospital in stable condition and the driver has not yet been caught, Suffolk police said.
