A two-year-boy walking with his mother Saturday night scooted away and was hit by a car exiting a parking lot at Staten Island’s Wagner College, police said.

The toddler was rushed to Richmond University Hospital in critical condition.

The driver remained at the scene of the accident, which occurred about 8:30 p.m.

The name of the victim was withheld.
