A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death in Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon, according to the NYPD.

Smith was stabbed with a sharp object once in the chest, the NYPD said.

The group of suspects then fled southbound on Halsey on foot to parts unknown.
Police say a group of as many as six men are being sought in connection to the murder. LoudlabsNYCCops said the victim was taken to Wyckoff Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests were made by Friday, and the motive for the deadly violence remains unclear.
