A Russian spacesuit worn during the 1975 Apollo-Soyuz Test Project fetched $242,000 at Bonhams auction house in Midtown.
Apollo-Soyuz marked the first international manned space flight. Soyuz commander Alexei Leonov wore the white nylon suit during docking, the launch, and re-entry.
Bonhams did not identify the buyer.
