BUFFALO, N.Y. — Authorities say they’ve arrested more than two dozen suspected members of a drug ring that distributed large amounts of cocaine throughout the Buffalo area.
State police officials and federal agents announced Wednesday that they had seized 42 kilograms of cocaine, several weapons and more than $600,000 in cash during their yearlong investigation into the Central Park Gang’s drug operation.
Authorities say 25 suspects from throughout the city and nearby suburbs have been charged. Two other suspects remain at large.
Federal agents say the gang had connections to the Mexican drug cartel through the Houston area.
