More than two dozen people wound up in cuffs as protesters with the notorious anti-Israel group Within Our Lifetime descended on Manhattan Thursday morning, cops said.
A total of 25 people were taken into custody as demonstrators gathered on First Avenue near East 49th Street in Midtown East, authorities said.
The exact charges they face were not immediately known.
Twenty-five people were busted after the assembled group blocked traffic at First Avenue and East 49th Street. CitizenVideo posted on Citizen shows a crowd displaying a large red banner with bold white lettering declaring “No war criminals in NYC!” — a reference to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Thursday visit to the Big Apple to address the United Nations.
“Netanyahu, you can’t hide! We charge you with genocide!” the group chanted as they assembled in the street just after 8 a.m.
“Stop bombing Gaza! Stop funding Israel! Stop arming Israel!” they shouted.
As the NYPD approached with zip-tie handcuffs, the group linked hands, the video shows.
Officers could be seen leading away several demonstrators, who continued chanting, “Let Gaza live!”
Cops confirmed by the late afternoon that all of them were released with summonses for disorderly conduct.
The protest is part of the group’s “Flood the United Nations for Gaza and Lebanon” demonstration — with plans to “turn the city into a frozen zone,” according to social media posts from Within Our Lifetime.

The group is also calling for the resignation of “zionist cop mayor Eric Adams,” claiming that “his crime is not just corruption” — referring to Hizzoner’s historic indictment, according to the group’s X account.
