A 25-year-old woman drowned in the ocean off Jacob Riis Park in the Rockaways on Saturday, despite desperate attempts by cops and paramedics to revive her.

The woman, whose name was withheld pending family notification, died later at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital.

The first responders, police from the nearby 100th Precinct, performed CPR until FDNY medics took over.

But their efforts were futile.

She was rushed by ambulance to the hospital, where she died shortly after 6 p.m.
