A Queens judge yesterday threw the book at a National Guardsman convicted for the “ferocious” beating death of his girlfriend in Far Rockaway.
“You will no longer carry on the prestigious history of a National Guardsman . . . you will be removed from society for the brutal, savage, senseless murder of Althea Lewis,” said Queens Judge Kenneth Holder, sentencing David Lynch to 25 years to life for second-degree murder.
