HARTFORD, Conn. — A winning $254 million Powerball ticket was sold in Connecticut — and it’s the largest prize in the state’s lottery history.

The only ticket with all six winning numbers from Wednesday’s drawing was sold at a still-undisclosed location in the state, and lottery officials are waiting for the winner to step forward. The winner can claim the $254 million paid over 29 years or a lump sum of nearly $152 million.
