A 27-year-old woman was fatally struck by a wrong-way van driver as she crossed a West Village street during the Thursday morning rush, cops said.

The woman, who was from Cambridge, Massachusetts, was crossing Morton Street at the Seventh Avenue South intersection just after 8:30 a.m. when the motorist rammed into her, authorities and sources said.

She was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries around 9:10 a.m., police said.

The driver, whom sources describe as a 61-year-old man behind the wheel of a black 2020 GMC Savana van with New Jersey plates, stayed on scene.

At the time of the crash, he was spotted driving the wrong way on Morton Street, heading westbound on the one-way eastbound street, cops said, citing preliminary information.

But the motorist stayed at the scene and did not face charges by later in the morning, police said.

The woman has not been officially identified pending family notification, and the NYPD’s Collision Investigation Squad is probing the crash.
