A string of home-invasion attacks had frightened residents of Great Neck and Kings Point locking their doors last night — and Long Island cops beefing up patrols in the area.

Three break-ins early Wednesday might be linked to a home invasion early Sunday, said Nassau Police spokesman Detective Michael Bitsko.

The same intruder is suspected in the three break-ins over two hours early Wednesday, including one in a room with 1- and 5-year-old girls, police said.

The suspect is Hispanic, 5-foot-10, about 200 pounds and with facial hair, cops said.
