A 3-year-old boy nearly drowned in a pool at a Staten Island house on Friday evening, police said.
The boy slipped into the pool at about 8:35 p.m. at the house on Cromwell Circle near Fairview Place in Todt Hill, according to police.
FDNY medics responded and rushed the boy to Staten Island University Hospital North, authorities said.
The boy was being treated for his injuries late Friday night.
It was not immediately known how the boy fell into the pool or if he was being supervised at the time.
