A young woman was struck by an SUV in Midtown yesterday before the out-of-control vehicle slammed into a taxi and a garbage truck, cops and witnesses said.

The blue Ford Explorer struck the woman at East 34th Street and Park Avenue at about 6 p.m.

It then struck the cab and turned onto East 33rd Street, where it slammed into the parked private garbage truck.

The driver was taken into custody. The woman, in her 20s, was rushed to Bellevue.
