A man jumped in front of an oncoming city bus in Queens in an apparent suicide, police said Monday.

The unidentified 35-year-old took the fatal leap into the path of a Q55 bus just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and 85th Street in Glendale, cops said.

The bus was heading west on Myrtle Avenue and struck the man as it moved through the intersection, throwing his body into the eastbound traffic lane, police said.

The 32-year-old bus driver stayed on the scene after the collision, and there were no arrests made in the incident, cops said.

The 35-year-old man was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.
