A building housing four Bronx public schools was evacuated this morning after elevated levels of carbon monoxide were detected, reports NYTimes.com.

The 1,500 students were evacuated from the building at 730 Bryant Avenue in Hunts Point around 8:20 a.m.

The building is home to Public School 168, the Hyde Leadership Charter School, the Vida Bogart School for All Children and Hunts Point School.

No injuries were reported.
