A box truck slammed into a church van early Sunday, ejecting four people onto the roadway and causing a chain-reaction crash near the Bronx-Westchester border, authorities said.

The church van was traveling south on Interstate 95 when the driver attempted to make an illegal exit at Conner Street and cut into the path of the oncoming box truck at around 12:45 a.m. according to law enforcement sources.

The truck broadsided the van, ejecting four of the five occupants inside before slamming into a third vehicle, injuring two occupants in that car.

Seven people were rushed to Jacobi and St. Barnabas hospitals in stable condition, officials said. All are expected to survive.

The truck driver, 63-year-old Carlos Perez, was arrested for allegedly driving without a license, police said.
