Five men were brutally stabbed in five hours, in a rash of unrelated incidents last night and early today that left them hospitalized, police and fire officials said.
The mayhem began around 7:45 p.m. when a 39-year-old man was knifed during an argument over a girl in Inwood.
Then in midtown a man suffered stab wounds after a fight with a woman at 10:30 p.m. The woman was injured too, but not slashed, the FDNY said.
In Jamaica, Queens, a man was stabbed in the chest about 10:10 p.m., while in Bushwick, Brooklyn, at 10:40 p.m. a 31-year-old man was attacked with a blade near Chauncey Street and Broadway, authorities said.
The final victim, a 16-year-old, was stabbed in the neck in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 12:20 a.m., the FDNY said.
None of the injuries were believed to be life threatening, the FDNY said.
