500G bail in B’klyn gran rape
An accused sexual predator was held yesterday on $500,000 bail for allegedly raping and robbing a 78- year-old woman in her Brooklyn home.
Gerrard Pressley, 33, pushed his way into her East New York apartment on Oct. 22 and then viciously attacked her, according to police.
He fled with cash and two cellphones, authorities said.
The victim’s son later received a phone call, which cops believe was made by Pressley, offering to return the phones in exchange for cash, sources said.
Pressley has a record of arrests for burglary, trespassing and drug possession.
Assistant Brooklyn DA Debra Jaroslawicz called the attack “a horrific, violent home-invasion rape of a 78-year-old woman.”
Pressley was charged with rape.
