Eleven inmates have filed a $500 million lawsuit against Westchester County and its Department of Corrections — for not letting them floss.

The 25-page suit, filed in US District Court in Manhattan, claims the inmates are unnecessarily losing teeth and suffering from chronic pain as a result.

Lead plaintiff Santiago Gomez, 26, held on a gun charge, accused the department of violating inmates’ civil rights since it knows that “failure to floss causes cavities,” opening the door to future oral problems.

The department’s looking into the matter, a spokesman told The Journal News.
