$59M ‘scam’ Starr in court
Financial adviser to the famous Kenneth Starr traded in his business suit for a navy-blue prison jumpsuit and brown T-shirt as he was arraigned yesterday on charges of scamming celebrity clients out of $59 million.
Starr silently stared straight ahead during a 10-minute hearing in Manhattan federal court as his public defender, Sabrina Shroff, pleaded not guilty on his behalf. He was returned to jail without bail.
