$5M cost to untangle $5B
Even government can’t navigate all the regulations put in by government.
The city has signed a $5 million contract with Illinois-based Hagerty Consulting to help obtain more than $5 billion in Sandy-related federal disaster-assistance funds, The Post has learned.
Officials said they need the help because the complicated rules for collecting the federal money require a specialist.
