The treatment of international passengers stuck in a blizzard at JFK Airport last year was as cold as ice, claims a Manhattan woman who’s suing for $5 million.

Vivian Vumbaca’s Alitalia flight from Rome landed following the Dec. 26 snowstorm, and was one of 28 international flights left on the tarmac for 11 hours.

Vumbaca claims Terminal One Group, which runs the international terminal at JFK, could have avoided the problem by simply alerting the flights that there were no available gates, but did not.
