Manhattan beautician Dana Lulgjuraj is suing the company behind the Brazilian Blowout for $5 million in Manhattan federal court, claiming she was sickened by one of its hair-care products.
Lulgjuraj says she suffered “physical injuries” while de-frizzing hair at the Butterfly Studio Salon in the Flatiron District last year. Manufacturer GIB LLC of North Hollywood, Calif., denies the allegations.
