Two NYPD cops were hurt early today in a traffic pileup that also injured four civilians, cops said.

The four-car accident took place on the westbound Belt Parkway near the Sunrise Highway merge on the Queens-Nassau border.

The two officers were rushed, with a police escort, to North Shore Hospital in Manhasset.

The civilians were taken to Jamaica Hospital.

It was not immediately clear if the cops had been heading to a police job or chasing another vehicle.

The victims’ conditions were not released.
