A Scarsdale mom who smuggled about $12 million in bullion from the Queens jewelry manufacturer she worked for struck gold yesterday —landing just six months behind iron bars for her long-term larceny.

Teresa Tambunting pleaded guilty in November to third-degree grand larceny, which carries a sentence of up to seven years.

Law-enforcement sources said that she got the sweet deal because she turned herself in, returned all the gold and had no prior arrest record.

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry,” Tambunting told Queens Supreme Court Justice Pauline Mullings.

Tambunting, 51, had been the vault manager at Jacmel Jewelry in Long Island City when she took home more than 500 pounds of gold, bit by bit, by slipping pieces of the precious metal into the lining of her purse.
