A car fire on the lower level of th Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge snarled traffic in Manhattan and Queens (Daniel Shapiro)

A truck burst into flames on the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge this morning — causing heavy traffic delays, authorities said.

The blaze broke out at 11 a.m. when the truck ignited on the lower level of the bridge, the FDNY said.

It over 60 firefighters to battle the fire and as of 12:45 p.m., most of the flames were extinguished but firefighters hadn’t yet placed the fire under control, the FDNY said.

Heavy traffic delays were reported heading into Manhattan from Queens.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, the FDNY said.
