Hateful graffiti was found scrawled across the front of a Manhattan synagogue Thursday morning, police said.

The vandalism was discovered at the Chabad of Chelsea synagogue on W. 23rd St. near 8th Ave. in Chelsea, officials said.

The graffiti, scribbled in black Sharpie marker, read “666,” a phrase that often refers to the devil.

The defacement is believed to have happened shortly after midnight and comes two days after two gunmen with ties to the Black Hebrew Israelite group murdered four people in Jersey City in a “targeted” attack.

Hate crime complaints across the city have risen 21% in 2019, the NYPD said.
