The MTA is shutting down a prime section of the Sixth Avenue subway line for four nights starting tonight, the second time in two weeks the agency has halted overnight service in the heart of Manhattan for repairs.
During the latest shutdown — which begins around 10 p.m. each night and runs to 5 a.m. — F trains will operate on the E line between Roosevelt Avenue and West Fourth Street. Other trains will also be rerouted.
