7-11 hacker cops a plea
A major hacker agreed to plead guilty to federal charges linked to electronic break-ins at 7-Eleven and the Hannaford Brothers chain of grocery stores, a court filing shows.
The plea by Albert Gonzalez could wrap up a large effort by federal prosecutors in Newark against a ring that allegedly stole payment-card data from 130 million credit-card users, including customers of TJX Cos. and BJ’s.
