Seven firefighters and one civilian were injured in a Bronx blaze early Sunday, officials said.
The fire erupted inside 1267 Thieriot Avenue in Parkchester just before 6:30 a.m., FDNY said.
Twenty-five units and over 100 fire fighters responded to the two alarm fire and battled the flames for over an hour, officials said.
The fire was placed under control at 7:40 a.m., authorities said.
One civilian in serious condition and seven fire fighters with minor injuries were rushed to Jacobi Hospital, FDNY said.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
