A 74-year-old woman is clinging to life after she was struck by an SUV in Bayside on Monday, cops said.
The driver of a GMC was making a left turn at 26th Avenue and Corporal Kennedy Street in Queens when he swerved and struck the woman, who was running, around 1 p.m., cops said.
The 74-year-old victim was running before she was hit by the vehicle. Ellis KaplanThe woman suffered a major head injury and was taken to a hospital. The driver remained on the scene and wasn’t immediately charged.
