An elderly man was killed in a hit-and-run smashup last night in Morningside Heights, police said.

The 75-year-old man was crossing the intersection of Broadway and 114th Street about 11:55 p.m., when a northbound black Honda Civic smashed into him, cops said.

The driver then fled the scene before police arrived, authorities said.

EMS found the man lying on the ground with trauma to his body. He was declared dead at St. Luke’s Hospital, authorities said.

No arrests have been made.
