An 80-year-old woman was brutally stabbed during a terrifying home invasion in Manhattan this morning, police sources said.

The cold-hearted thug stabbed the elderly woman in the head and arm inside her Harlem residence on West 139th Street near Adam Clayton Powell Junior Boulevard at about 11 a.m., FDNY officials and police sources said.

It is unclear whether the suspect made off with anything before fleeing.

The victim was rushed to Harlem Hospital and is expected to survive.
