A nearly 30-year-old Bronx murder mystery was unraveled after DNA linked the crime to a serial killer responsible for two 1981 homicides — and now authorities believe the same fiend could be tied to similar unsolved slayings, prosecutors said yesterday.

Jesus Aguilera, 56, a Cuban immigrant who came to America on the infamous Mariel boatlift of 1980, was charged with murder for the strangling death of Tolila Moore, a prostitute.

“He just liked to kill,” said a source.

In August 1981, Aguilera murdered Guillermo Arroyo in The Bronx. A month later, he killed Josefina Cepeda in Manhattan.

Aguilera’s DNA was drawn in 2001 while he was serving a 45-year-to-life sentence for those murders.

In June, the lab discovered it matched DNA found under Moore’s fingernails.

Bronx prosecutor Rachel Singer said Aguilera is the prime suspect in two other unsolved homicides in the borough.
