It was America’s birthday — but the biggest present went to the lucky patron of a Staten Island liquor store, where a winning $86 million lottery ticket was sold.

The customer, whose name has not yet been released, won the Mega Millions with the numbers 3, 4, 24, 36, 52 and Mega Ball 45.

The ticket was bought at Empire Wine and Liquor Depot on Richmond Hill Road.

“Many people bought tickets here,” store owner Susan Chan said, adding she did not know who purchased the lucky one.

“I am happy. I get $10,000 — I can pay my rent!”

Lottery spokeswoman Carolyn Hapeman said last night that no one so far had claimed the prize.

“This is in no way a record for the state, but it certainly is a significant prize for Staten Island,” she said.
