A 9-year boy taking out the trash was hit by a car in Brooklyn early Friday, police said.
The boy went outside at around 12:45 a.m. when he unexpectedly ran into the street, and was hit by the driver of an Infinity sedan near Flatbush Avenue and Avenue D in Flatbush, cops said.
First responders removed the boy from under the car and took him to Maimonides Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The 32-year-old driver stayed at the scene and was arrested for suspicion of driving while impaired, police said.
