Chilling 911 calls released Wednesday capture the horror of neighbors as they desperately try to get help for a dying New Jersey au pair as she lay bleeding on a Maplewood street.

Woodland Road residents frantically called 911 Saturday morning after hearing the screams of 26-year-old Karen Bermudez-Rodriguez, who was bound, chased and stabbed to death by her scorned ex-boyfriend, Joseph Porter, according to police and witnesses.

“Please come immediately — someone is dying!” a woman can be heard saying on the 911 call. “She’s on the street, someone attacked her. I think she’s bleeding to death. I think she may already be dead.”

“Hurry! Ambulance immediately!” the woman says.

“You’re going to be fine. The ambulance is coming. They’re going to take care of you. Please hang on,” a man says to Bermudez-Rodriguez in another call as she lies in the street bleeding.

“She has a cut on her neck, it’s very bad,” the man says to the dispatcher.

Porter, 27, entered the home sometime before 6 a.m. and fatally stabbed her 40-year-old boss, David Kimowitz, who runs The Stand comedy club, court records show.

Porter used tape to bind the hands of Bermudez-Rodriguez, who cared for the two young daughters of Kimowitz and his wife —  but somehow, she managed to escape the house.

Neighbors on an adjacent street said they heard panicked screams from a woman — “Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!” she yelled, as they ran out to see what had happened, according to interviews and the 911 calls.

Bermudez-Rodriguez only managed to make it a few hundred feet before Porter caught up with her, according to authorities and witness accounts.

“I don’t know … a man with a woman … I don’t know what he do with the lady … she’s on the street laying there,” an unnamed woman says in another 911 call.

“I’m trying to talk to her but she’s almost out of it,” an unidentified man says to the dispatcher, according to the recording.

A few hours earlier, Bermudez-Rodriguez had texted Porter, ending their relationship and asking him to return the keys to the family home, court records show.

Porter “texted back that he was upset’’ with Bermudez-Rodriguez, according to records.

Kimowitz’s wife and two daughters were away at the time.

Later that morning, Porter was picked up by cops while trying to flee the county to Cancun, Mexico, out of Newark Airport, according to police. A law enforcement source told The Post that Porter’s mom had given him $800 for the plane ticket, although it’s unclear if she knew he was trying to flee after the crime.

Porter has been charged with murder in the deaths of Kimowitz and Bermudez-Rodriguez and is set to appear in court in Newark at 9 a.m. Aug. 14.
