Sen. Charles Schumer yesterday said there was a “pretty clear” relationship between a rise in cancer among firefighters who were at Ground Zero.
“Rare cancers [among firefighters] skyrocketed after 9/11,” Schumer said in response to a Post story about an FDNY medical report drawing the same link. “To me, it seems to be pretty clear there’s some relationship.”
